The Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sobah Khaled al-Sobah has made it clear t that the only single solution to the Yemeni crisis is a political settlement based on the three terms of peace reference including the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue Conference and International Security Council resolutions in relevance, namely 2216.

Speaking at the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly al-Sobah stated that the continuation of the Yemeni crisis and its dangerous and increasingly growing threats to regional security and stability are actually correlated to the way of dealing with the International Security Council's resolutions in relevant .

He reiterated Kuwait's support for the UN Secretary General's envoy to Yemen, praising the Arabia's constructive roles by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in reinvigorating the implementation of Riyadh Agreement and the Kingdom's peace proposal in Yemen.
