Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak met today with the Director of the UNDP Achim Stenier.
They discussed the UNDP's activities and projects in Yemen as well as Yemen's pressing needs for developmental projects.
Bin Mubarak highlighted the urgent need for sustaining Yemen's national economy through channeling the UN agencies' funds through the Central Bank of Yemen to support the national currency exchange rates and financing major developmental projects that can create job opportunism.
He said" Humanitarian interventions can't continue forever, the Yemeni people need job opportunities instead of food baskets" .
