Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi
The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

Minister of Defense Lt Gen. Mohammed al-Maqdashi met today with his Egyptian counterpart Lt Gen. Mohammed Zaki.
Yemeni-Egyptian military ties and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.
General al-Maqdashi highly praised Egypt's historical role in support of Yemen in different stages, deeply appreciating the Egyptian supportive stance in support of the legitimate Yemeni government against Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup d'état, as well as Egypt's support for Yemen's unity, stability and territorial integrity.
Al-Maqdashi highlighted Yemen's need for further Egyptian support in the areas of training and expertise exchange.
