Shabwa government discuss response to security challenges

The local government of Shabwa has discussed measures to respond to the security and military challenges as the Houthi militia continue to mobilize militants in the borders between the eastern Shabwa province and Al Beidha central Yemen province.

The local Security Committee in a meeting presided over by governor Mohammed bin Edeiw listened to a briefing on the security situation in Al-Beidha peripheries near Beihan district of Shabwa.

The meeting also addressed the suspicious activities of some criminal cells and the the Southern Transitional Council's incitement of violence in Shabwa at the same time of Houthi mobilization, which highlights the fact that these militias share the goal of belligerence against the government.

The committee also discussed the impact of the economic deterioration on the public security , vowing to allow no one to mess with the public security and told the STC militia accountable for their calls for violence.
