Ministry of Public Health and Population launched Sunday here the vaccination campaign against corona pandemic and targets more than 19 thousand person.
Launched by Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population Ali al-Walidi and Deputy Governor of Aden Mohammed al-Shathely, the campaign targets medical staff, people of chronic diseases and aged people above 55 years, who have not got vaccine in the first round.
The campaign also targets educational and teaching cadre, refugees and displaced people above 18 years, as well as emigrants and workers in marine, ground and aerial outlets.
Al-Walidi made it clear that the ministry is waiting for another shipment of astrazeneca vaccine, stressing significance of implementing precautionary measures for facing the third wave of corona pandemic.
