The Supreme National Emergency Committee on coronavirus epidemic, approved in a meeting headed by Prime Minister today a number of measures to confront the third wave of the epidemic, and stressed the official and societal responsibility to overcome the repercussions of this pandemic.
The committee ordered the suspension of official gathering, events , and instructed the local authorities to take the necessary measures to limit gatherings and social events, and raise the level of awareness among citizens.
The Committee also approved a number of measures aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the health sector to confront the third wave, including the possibility of opening new isolation centers, providing medical and preventive supplies, and strengthening coordination mechanisms with international organizations to provide needs according to priorities..
