Governor of Hodeida al-Hasan Taher discussed Wednesday with Deputy Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen Digo Zurila and representatives of IOM, Danish Refugees Council, UNFPA and UN Demining Programs humanitarian situation in the province.
Governor Taher provided detailed explanation on social needs in field of health, relief, education and water, in addition to social situation in the province over Houthi militia's triggered war.
For his part, Zurila said the visit aims at identifying swift humanitarian needs in the province, confirming their knowledge of complicating humanitarian crisis and they will work on meeting social needs soon in the future.
After the meeting, they made filed visits to affected areas and listened to the people on their health, educational and water needs and shelter and food aid.
