RIYADH – SABA
Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Haidan discussed today with the French Ambassador to Yemen Jean-Marie Safa the security cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of combating organized crime and terrorism.
The minister praised the French positions in support of Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy, pointing to the brutal aggression that some governorates are facing at the hands of the terrorist Houthi militia and its bombing of IDPs camps in Marib.
For his part, the French ambassador expressed his country's aspiration to stabilize the situation in Yemen, pointing out that the Houthi militia must adhere to reason in many issues, foremost of which is the maintenance of the Safer oil tanker in Hodeidah, respect of the right civilians and IDPs, and lifting its iron grip on the areas under its control.
