Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak discussed Wednesday with Dutch Ambassador in Yemen Peter Derick means of boosting peace process in Yemen.
In the meeting held through visual communications technology, Minister bin Mubarak expressed Yemen's appreciation to developmental support provided by Netherlands and the country's efforts for realizing peace in the country.
He confirmed keenness of the government on realizing sustainable peace and reaching a political settlement in accordance with the three agreed upon references: the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council's Resolution 2216 and cooperation with UN Envoy to Yemen Hans Grunberg.
He touched upon Safir Oil Tanker's issue and Houthi militia's continuous playing with this environmental and humanitarian issues, pointing out to significance of tackling this issue to make Yemen away of its catastrophic results.
For his part, the Dutch diplomat confirmed continuous support of his country to Yemen and exerting every possible effort for helping solve the crisis and realizing peace in Yemen.
He pointed out to his country's support to Yemen's unity, security and stability.
