[17/08/2021 06:08]

MARIB – SABA
Deputy Governor of Marib, Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah, discussed with the Director of the World Food Program Office in Marib Masoud Khan, mutual arrangements to expedite the delivery of food aid to residents of Marib's outskirt of Rahaba and its neighboring areas that have been recently liberated from the control of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

They also discussed the necessity of urgently addressing the re-supply of food rations to many displaced people from the northern districts of Marib, Al-Jawf and Sana'a who lost their rations since they were re-displaced by the Houthi militia last year.

Miftah stressed the importance of expediting the delivery of rations to the beneficiaries in the liberated areas as part of emergency interventions to help them to return voluntarily to their homes and farms after they lived months of suffering in displacement as a result of the militia’s occupation of their villages and farms.
