President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received Monday Charge D'Affairs of US Embassy in Yemen Kathy Westly discussing with her a number of topics and common concerned issues.
President Hadi praised efforts and positions of the United States for supporting Yemen in different fields and conditions and its concern of Yemen's security, stability and unity.
He also praised US efforts for realizing peace in Yemen via US cooperation with international community, renewing keenness on realizing peace to Yemeni people after long lasting suffering over Houthi militia's war on Yemeni people's consensus, harmony and stability.
The rebel militia sought to impose its agenda and transporting Iranian experiment to Yemen, he said.
He pointed out to Government's commitment to all peace efforts in different stages, most recently Stockholm Agreement.
" We stopped our forces' advance to Hodeida after they were meters away of Hodeida Port and in return, Houthis did not commit to their pledges in ending Taiz's siege and releasing prisoners and kidnapped people," said president.
He also confirmed US role for urging international community, organizations and donors to provide support to Yemeni people in this difficult conditions Yemen is going through over Houthi militia's coup.
He also asked for US role in supporting government's efforts and finalizing implementation of Riyadh Agreement, especially security and military articles of it.
For her part, the US diplomat expressed pleasure for the meeting, which comes in the framework of full cooperation between the US and Yemen, confirming support to Yemen and its leadership.
She pointed out to her meetings with ministers of interior and health for discussing support in security and health fields.
"We are ready to visit Aden after the return of the government and finalizing implementation of Riyadh Agreement," she said.
