Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Mua'mar al-Eryani has honored British Ambassador to Yemen Michael Aron with the ministry's medal for his efforts contributed in boosting relations between the two countries.

Minister al-Eryani praised efforts exerted by the ambassador while in duty as ambassador to Yemen and position of the UK supporting the internationally recognized government and Yemen's unity, security and stability.

He expressed keenness of President Hadi on realizing inclusive and sustainable peace for good life to Yemeni people, stressing significance of continuous pressure on Houthi militia to return to peace and to stop crimes and daily violations it commits against people in their held areas.

For his part, the UK diplomat renewed his country's support to the government of Yemen as the sole legal authority to Yemeni people, confirming his country's support to Yemen's unity, security and stability
