In a statement to Saba, Muammar al-Eryani said, "Within 48 hours, three civilians have been killed by a Houthi shell that hit Alshammasi neighborhood and four others including two children and a woman have been wounded by a mortar round that hit Almaleeha in the 30-meter road and a 65-year-old woman by the name Ni'ama Rashid was wounded by a Houthi sniper." in the city.

The minister condemned the continued international silence over the war crimes of the terrorist militia as they "continue to maintain a strangling seven-year siege on the city." The minister said this silence is a green light to the militia to go ahead with their crimes.
