The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen, represented by the Executive Director of Yemen's Telecommunication Company (Telyemen) Tariq Bakran and Assistant Deputy Minister of Telecommunications Ragheed al-Saeed, participated Thursday via visual communications in the 47th Meeting of Arab Permanent Committee for Telecommunications and Information Technology.
Presided over by Egypt with participation of Arab countries and international and regional organizations, the meeting discussed results of the working teams of the committees and activities of the apparatus in Arab Telecommunications Ministers Council, results of the meeting of the international Federation for Telecommunications and Arab joint cooperation.
The meeting also discussed a number of activities including Arab initiative for internet governance in Arab area and the digital symposium economy expo 2020.
