Al-Barakani confirms necessity of stopping economic deterioration

Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani has confirmed necessity of taking swift necessary measures by the government to stop economic, financial and cash deterioration.
In a letter to Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik, al-Barakani said the Parliament and its members are aware of importance of taking necessary measures to tackle the situation and the parliament members "will be with you and with the taken measures to correct financial and cash policies."
" You know the current situation of economic, financial and cash situation in the country and dangers of this situation after the exchange prices have reached their utmost and the price of one USD exceeded 1000 for Yemeni Riyal," said al-Barakani in the letter.
He pointed out to directing a call to Saudi Arabia for imminent intervention to provide quick support to stop deterioration of the price of the Yemeni Riyal.
