The USAID -financed Economic Recovery and Livelihoods Program- in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce- organized Monday a workshop entitled " Woman's Enabling and Leading Business" for boosting and improving skills of female owners of small projects.
Attended by 70 participants from representatives of female unions and businesswomen, the workshop included knowledge on Trade and Industry Registry, trademarks, agencies and tradenames and woman's management.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Ali Atef confirmed significance of the workshop on enabling woman and boosting her vital role in business, stressing importance of woman's role in society.
He confirmed efforts of the ministry for encouraging businesswomen and facilitating difficulties and obstacles facing them.
For his part, Director of Industry and Commerce Ministry's Office in Aden Mohammad Obadi said that the workshop aimed at solving all problems and difficulties facing owners of small projects via teaching them needed measures on getting licenses and trade registry.
