The Governor of Abyan, Maj. Gen. Abu Bakr Hussein Salem, has followed up on the progress of the function of the Central Bank branch in Zunjubar after its rehabilitation and equipment at a total cost of 220 million riyals with government funding.
The governor was briefed by the general manager of the bank’s branch, Hussein Mahdi, on the bank’s financial situation during the months of May and June, after the bank’s activity resumed from its headquarters in the provincial capital.
In addition, the Governor of Abyan discussed, with the Executive Director of the Yaf'aa Foundation for Development Khaled Al-Hosni, a number of investment opportunities that the Foundation intends to establish in the governorate to establish a project of 1,000 housing units in three phases, in addition to the possibility of investing in the agricultural field.
