[04/07/2021 02:16]
Yemen's Information Minister said the Houthis controlling northwest Yemen have used the 2018 Stockholm Agreement with the government to serve the terrorist militia's terror activities.
Citing a Houthi terror operation with two explosive boats that the Arab Coalition foiled yesterday, Muammar al-Eryani said the militia's "use of the [Red Sea] ports of Hodeidah Alsalif, Ras Esa to prepare bomb-laden, remotely controlled boats confirms that Houthis have used the Stocholm Agreement to serve their terror activities."
The thwarted attacks "show again the serious danger that the continued Houthi control on parts of the coasts of Hodeidah poses to the security of commercial vessels, oil tankers and international shipping lanes.
The minister called on the international community to assume their responsibility of exercising real pressure on the Houthis and put them on the international list of terrorist organizations.
