Saudi second oil shipment arrives Mahra

The second shipment of diesel, 5500 tons, provided by Saudi Arabia to Yemen through Saudi Program for Yemen's Development and Reconstruction arrived Saturday here for feeding Mahra's power stations with fuel.

Governor of Mahra Mohammad Yaser and Director of the Program's Office in Mahra Abdullah Basulaiman received the shipment.

Governor Yaser praised Saudi generous support to Mahra in particular and to Yemen in general in different domains.

For his part, Basulaiman said that 4000 tons of diesel shipment is allocated to Mahra's power stations, adding that the shipment will reduce electricity's daily blackouts and will help the government save funds for developmental projects.
