Deputy Minister of Planning for International Cooperation Sector Umer Abdulaziz discussed Tuesday with Deputy of Humanitarian Coordinator of the UN and Director of the Office of Coordinating Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Sajed Sajjad boosting cooperation for making humanitarian activity successful.
The meeting, which was participated by a number of planning ministry deputies, touched upon latest developments of humanitarian work and organizing open branches to organizations in Marib for facilitating humanitarian activities in the province, which hosts huge numbers of displaced persons.
Efforts of supporting the ministry in implementing one-stop window in contribution to facilitate procedures of the organizations and implement their project were also discussed.
The ministry's deputies confirmed significance of coordination with the ministry and other concerned bodies before implementing projects.
For their part, the UN officials thanked the ministry for its cooperation and providing facilitations needed for implementing OCHA's projects.
