RIYADH - SABA
Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bajjash, received the German Ambassador to Yemen Carola Müller-Holtkemper, to bid her farewell on the occasion of the end of her tenure.
Dr. Bajjash expressed Yemen's appreciation for the efforts made by the German ambassador in the context of her country's support for the Yemeni government to end the Iranian-backed Houthi coup and achieve a just and comprehensive peace in Yemen, and her efforts in strengthening the relations between the two countries.
He pointed out to the intransigence of the Houthi militia and its rejection all regional and international initiatives to end the war and human suffering. He said that the militia continue to fuel the war and destruction and fragmentation of the Yemeni society by entrenching extremist ideologies into the minds of children and youth in Yemen.
He pointed out that the Houthi militia is not serious about ending the war as a result of it being beholden to Iran and being one of Iran's subversive tools in the region.
