Al-Eryani: Houthi militia's terrorist escalation undermines peace efforts
[21/06/2021 06:38]

ADEN - SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani has confirmed that Houthi militia's recent military escalation in different warfronts in Marib, continuous attacks on populated neighborhoods in liberated areas and targeting civilians in Saudi Arabia undermines peace efforts and is considered stark rejection to peaceful solutions.

" This hysteric and dangerous escalation confirms Houthi militia's continuation of its coup and loyalty to Iranian agenda and destructive policies aiming at spreading chaos and terrorism in the region," said al-Eryani in a statement to Saba on Monday, pointing out that the militia neglects the international consensus and efforts of brotherly and friendly countries to end the war and realize peace.

He added that the military escalation coincided with the militia's movements on ground for imposing the coup as a real situation via recruiting children as soldiers and brainwashing them in summer camps.

Al-Eryany called upon the International Community, the UN and permanent members in the Security Council to denounce this escalation and to exert pressure on the militia to force them return to respond to peace efforts.
