RIYADH - SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned the Houthi TERRORIST militia’s issuance of a death sentence and extra discretionary penalties against female lawyer and activsit Zaafaran Zayed, the director of the Women’s Empowerment Foundation, and her husband Fuad Al-Mansoori, Secretary of the Salam International Organization.
A court run by the Iran-backed theocratic militia ordered their crucifiation and hanging in a public square for three days on trumped-up charges after the activist transported a female child to Saudi Arabia for treatment from wounds allegedly sustained in an Arab Coalition strike.
Al-Eryani indicated that the Houthi militia's targeting of the activist and her husband and the storming of the headquarters of the Yemeni Women Empowerment Foundation and seizure of the office's contents, is a revenge for Zaafran's prominent role in exposing the militia's violations that amount to war crimes, and for her role in documenting them with legal and humanitarian evidence.
