Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani held Iran-allied Houthi militias accountable for further worsening the Yemeni peoples' torment by hindering humanitarian and relief efforts.
The militiamen have denied a commercial ship loaded 12500 tons of wheat access Hodeidah seaport to unload the World Food Program (WFP) relief shipment.
In a statement carried out by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) al-Eryani said " Iran-backed Houthi militia had prevented the WFP's ship laden with 12500 tons of wheat from unloading the relief cargo, forced the vessel to depart Hodeidah harabor".
He added " Houthi militia has deliberately embarked on blocking humanitarian and relief actions for years in the militia-controlled regions".
The Minister called on the international community to condemn these inhumane and criminal actions which further exacerbate the humanitarian crisis.
