The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

Death toll from the latest Houthi terror attack on the eastern Yemeni city of Marib has risen to 10, medical sources have confirmed.

The Iran-backed militia shelled the center of the government-held city on Thursday evening with three ballistic missiles and armed drone bombs killing eight people and injuring 27 others, two of whom succumbed to their wounds on Friday.

The rockets hit a mosque and a women prison within the city’s Police Department.

The Houthi militia fighting a year long war on Marib has as of 5 February intensified its war in the outskirts of the city and stepped up its bouts of ballistic missile shelling killing, injuring and displacing thousands of IDPs who constitute the majority of Marib’s residents.
