The National Program for Controlling Mines (YAMAC) and the Saudi Demining Program in Yemen (MASAM) extracted and destroyed 1898 of landmines different kinds of unexploded ordnances (UXO) in several areas of the Bab al-Mandab and neighborhoods.
This amount of landmines planted by Iran-allied Houthi militiamen everywhere in the Bab al-Manadab areas and neighborhoods.
The Director of YAMAC Brigadier Amin al-Auqaili told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the engineering teams destroyed 435 anti-armored vehicles and tanks landmines, 571 detonators, 3 explosive devices, 3 anti-personnel landmines, 4 Katyusha rockets, 3 heat-guided missiles, 221(UXO) and 655 of different ammunitions.
