Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak handed over a written letter today to his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi from the President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

The two ministers discussed the ongoing peace efforts aiming to put an end of the war and achieve peace in Yemen.

Bin Mubarak highly praised the Omani constructive role and contribution to the diplomatic efforts aiming to stop the war and bring the Yemenis together to negotiate a peaceful settlement to establish peace in Yemen.

The Omani minister reiterated his country's principled stance in support of the legitimate Yemeni government, Yemen's unity, security and stability.
