The Governor of Lebanon's Bank Riyadh Salama has confirmed that he will exert pressure on directors of Lebanese banks to release Yemeni seized funds.
In his meeting with a delegation from the Central Bank of Yemen and other private banks, Salama talked about suggestions and measures he reached to with officials of Lebanese banks.
Earlier, Ambassador of Yemen to Lebanon Abdullah al-Dua'is demanded Salama to interfere to release Yemeni funds as they were allocated for buying basic goods and the delay of paying prices of these goods will result in huge legal and financial costs.
