Charge d' Affairs of Yemen's Embassy in Bulgaria Ahmad Shammar discussed Thursday with Director of Middle East and North Africa Department Angel Anglove boosting relations between the two countries and latest political and military developments in Yemen.
Shammar confirmed government's positive position in dealing with all initiatives and efforts for political and peaceful solution in Yemen on the bases of the three internationally-agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216, pointing out that Houthi terrorist militia faced this position with military escalation in Marib and targeted civilians and camps of displaced people with rockets.
For his part, the Bulgarian official renewed his country's firm position supporting Yemen and its unity and sovereignty and support to UN efforts for reaching inclusive political solution to Yemen's crisis on the bases of the three foundations.
