Yemen’s Foreign Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, has received a copy of the credentials of the new Turkish Ambassador to Yemen, Mustafa Polat.
Mubarak welcomed the ambassador, stressing that the ministry will provide all the necessary facilities for the success of his duties, praising the relations of the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of bilateral cooperation issues and prospects for their development, in addition to coordinating the two countries' positions towards issues of common interest in international forums.
Bin Mubarak touched on political developments in Yemen in light of international efforts to end the war and establish peace, stressing the Yemeni government's support to those efforts and its keenness to reach a comprehensive and sustainable peace that saves Yemeni blood and end the Yemeni people’s agony that has been exacerbating since the Houthi militia’s coup on September 2014.
