The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

ICRC's humanitarian interventions in Yemen discussed

Under-Secretary of Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bagash met here today with the Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission in Yemen Katharine Ritz.
They discussed the humanitarian efforts made by the ICRC in Yemen and the facilitations provided by the Yemeni government to ease the ICRC's activities.
The conversations touched upon the humanitarian situation in Marib governorate as a result of the Houthi militia's ongoing military operations that have further worsening the IDPs' suffering.
Bagash praised the constructive role played by the ICRC in the prisoner-exchange deal in October last year.
