RIYADH - SABA
Yemen’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak has told the Dutch ambassador to the country Peter Derek Hoff that the international community has to call for an end to the Houthi armed militia’s “persistent aggression” against Marib province.
The minister told the Dutch diplomat that Houthi terrorists are pressing ahead with their war on a city that accommodates millions of escapees from their crackdown.
He said that the longer the war will only lead to more and more losses of lives and exacerbate the already dire humanitarian crisis in the country.
He also called for the need to pressure Houthis to allow UN technicians to repair the dangerously decaying oil tanker of Safer in the Red Sea.
The minister appreciated the constant Dutch support to Yemen including the efforts to end the conflict in Yemen.
