Health Minister UNICEF discuss intensifying the organization’s programs in Yemen

The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Beheibeh, discussed today with the UNICEF's Regional Director in the Middle East and North Africa, Ted Shaiban strengthening of the partnership between the Ministry and UNICEF in the various health sectors, and intensifying the organization’s programs targeting children suffering from malnutrition.
In the meeting, which was held through visual communication technology, Beheibeh praised the UNICEF's interventions as one of the most important organizations supporting the health sector in Yemen and with a record in helping effectively to prevent the collapse of the health system in the country.
The talks went over the measures taken by the Ministry to enhance to broaden the coverage of the covid-19 vaccine campaign and increase the number of vaccinators involved.
