The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

The American government congratulated the Yemeni people on the 31st Anniversary of the Unity National Day May 22.
The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement " On behalf of the USA government I extend the best wishes to the Yemeni people on the 31st Anniversary of the Unity National Day".
Blinken added" The comprehensive and permanent solution to the conflict in Yemen is a top priority for the US. I'm looking forward to keep on the work between our countries and other partners to realize peace, I do confirm our commitment to contribute to achieve a prosperous future for all Yemenis".
