The Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen (SPDRY) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) launched today an executive program for developmental cooperation in Yemen.
The initiative aims to boost strategic partnership between the two sides, join efforts and establish future vision for the development and construction in Yemen in cooperation with the Yemeni government and development partners.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Yemen, General Supervisor of the SPDRY Mohammed al-Jaber and the President of the IsDB Group Bandar al-Hajjar singed on the agreement.
Under the agreement the cooperation will be established between the two sides and the Yemeni government and institutions in six spheres including the development vision and strategy, construction, economic recovery, digital and technological cooperation, strategic planning for partnership in the development projects and programs, strategic communication, media, investment for sustainable development, empowering private-sector and the implementation of the projects funded by the IsDB.
