RIYADH-SABA
Yemen’s Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani said the Iranian military officer in Sana’a Hassan Eyrlo is acting “like a real governor for the Houthi-controlled” parts of Yemen.
In a statement to Saba, al-Eryani said Eyrlo has “been imposing himself as the number one official in Sana’a city and the rest of the regions controlled by the terrorist Houthi militia.”
“These behaviors show that the Houthi militia ‘leaders’ are mere pro forma puppets.”
"They also drive home the point that the Iranian regime is working to impose its control on Yemen as part of its expansionist ambitions in the whole region … and that Houthis are merely a dirty tool.”
