Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Beheibeh, inaugurated today a project to rehabilitate the general emergency department at Al-Mukalla Hospital for Motherhood and Childhood, funded by the Selah Foundation for Development.
The minister was briefed about the stages of the project’s completion, which included demolition, rebuilding, and distribution of the department’s rooms and opening a main gate for the department. The project also includes a room for training the emergency department staff, including doctors and nurses.
The Minister of Health praised the project, which will contribute to alleviating the suffering of patients by receiving and accommodating the largest number of emergency cases and providing appropriate health and treatment care to them.
