Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik praised the efforts of the National Mine Action Program in clearing Yemen from the landmines that were planted and still being planted by the Houthi militia.
During a visit to the National Mine Action Program in Hadhramaut, he expressed the appreciation of all Yemeni citizens for the role played by de-mining teams to remove the mines, pointing to the disaster that Yemen is experiencing as a result of the Houthi legacy left in very large numbers in all areas they once controlled.
The Prime Minister referred to the role of the national program for dealing with mines in Hadhramaut, in working to clear mines in more than one governorate, extending appreciation to all demining workers who risk their lives in order to save the public.
