King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center's Masam Project for Cleansing Yemeni lands from mines has cleared 1665 mines during the first week of April 2021 planted by Iran-backed Houthi militia in different Yemeni provinces.
The center made it clear in a release that the removed mines included five anti-person landmines, 468 anti- tanks mines, 1,149 unexploded ordnances and 43 explosives, pointing out that the total number of the removed mines since the beginning of the project in 2015 has reached 232,257 mines planted by Houthi militia across Yemeni areas.
