Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Sobah received today Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak.

Aspects of Yemeni-Kuwaiti robust bilateral relations was key focus of the discussions.

Bin Mubarak detailed Sheikh Al-Sobah on the latest developments about the situations in Yemen including ongoing regional and international efforts aim to push political process in Yemen; blaming Houthi militia for refusing peace initiatives, insisting on prolonging the war and the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

The Foreign Minister underscored the need for reinvigorating the joint Yemeni-Kuwaiti ministerial committee to contribute to bringing about the economic recovery.

Bin Mubarak highly appreciated the supportive stances of the State of Kuwait in support of the Yemeni legitimate leadership headed by President Hadi against Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister reiterated his country's support for Yemen's legitimate government, unity and territorial integrity.

Sheikh Al-Sobah stated that the state of Kuwait will continue to support regional and international efforts to re-establish peace and security in Yemen.

He affirmed Kuwait's readiness to provide Yemen with necessary assistance in different fields.
