Houthi militia-laid landmines killed 2274 civilians and caused2752 more critical injures through July 2014 to March 2021, according to a report issued today on the International Day for Raising Awareness on Landmines Risks, April 4.
The report which published by a national human rights organization (Hood) stated that 2274 people killed including 398 child, 157 women and 95 old people. While 2752 more sustained injures among of them 560 chilled, 177 women and 99 old.
The Saudi Demining Project in Yemen " MASAM" and National Demining Program (NDP) reported that they have managed over the past three years to remove 228 thousand and 315 landmines and explosive devices all planted by Iran-allied Houthi militiamen throughout 17 Yemeni governorates.
