Ambassador al-Woheishi confirms government's keenness to make peace

Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Russian Federation Dr. Ahmed Salim al-Woheishi stated that the government is very keen on realizing a comprehensive sustainable peace based on the three terms of reference including the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and the UNSCR 2216.

His statement came during a press conference held today at the Russia News Agency (RIA Novosti).

He provided a detailed presentation about the situations in the Yemeni national landscape including the Houthi militia's violations and military attacks on the governorates of Marib, ALjwaf, Taiz and Albaidha.

The Ambassador also underscored the importance of the Saudi Arabia proposal to bring the Yemeni crisis to its end.
