RIYADH - SABA
Yemen’s Information Minister has warned of “a massive humanitarian disaster” as Houthi putschist militants continue to shell IDPs camps in Marib, forcing the re-displacement of hundreds of families from IDPs camps in the province.
In a statement to Saba, Muammar al-Eryani said the Houthi missile and shell attacks on the three main IDPs camps in the provincial capital has in the past few days led to the injury of dozens of women and children and forced hundreds of families to look for safer locations within the province.
He called on the international community to assume their moral obligation to stop the Houthi terrorist war, reminding them of the fact that Marib hosts 2,231,000 or 60% of all the IDPs in Yemen.
