Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Najeeb al-Awej discussed Sunday with Executive Director of Arabsat Company Khaled Balkheyour through videoconferencing technology finalizing technical preparations for providing internet and telecommunication services to Yemen through satellite.

Al-Awej confirmed necessity of making timetable to the project for providing the service to different provinces in Yemen.

For his part, Balkheyour said that the work is underway for making the final vision of the project and defining the areas to be covered by the service in the first phase on the bases of suggestions made by the two joint-working teams.
