Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Bin Mubarak discussed Sunday with UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths latest developments in Yemen and means of making Saudi initiative successful.
The two parties also discussed international efforts for stopping the war and realizing peace on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
Bin Mubarak re-welcomed the Saudi initiative, which gained wide international support and confirmed keenness of the government of Yemen on realizing inclusive peace on the bases of the three references.
He confirmed that Houthi militia's response to the initiative by escalating attacks confirms how the militia is submissive to Iran's agenda of destabilizing the region.
