Yemen’s Information Minister has called on the international community take its responsibility in “countering the Houthi terrorist activities and protecting the regional and global peace.”
In a statement to Saba after the Iran-backed Houthi militants responded to a Saudi peace offer with drone attacks on civilians areas in the kingdom, Muammar al-Eryani said the international community also needs to stop the destructive Iranian policies that undermine the possibility of peaceful solution in Yemen.”
“These attacks confirm that the Houthi militia won’t comply with the demands of peace unless they come under political and military pressures and unless they are subjected to international sanctions and their leaders are prosecuted as war criminals.”
