Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak held talks today here with the Director General of the Qatari Fund for Development (QFFD)Khalifah Jassim al-Kuari.
The conversations focused on the QFFD's activities in Yemen and the developmental projects it has funded in cooperation with the UN's agencies in the sectors of health care, water and sanitation .
The discussions touched upon the development projects which funded by the QFFD earlier most important of all re-operate the Qatari Electricity Station in Aden, pave the highway of Batise-Rasd with asphalt and supporting Khalifa Hospital in Attorba, Taiz governorate.
Bin Mubarak sought for reviving the QFFD's actions in collaboration with the authorities in charge of the Yemeni government, exploring the QFFD's contribution to help the government's efforts aiming to achieve the economic recovery.
The Director General of the QFFD expressed pleasure to cooperate directly with the Yemeni government.
He stated that the FDD is keen to support the government's program for economic recovery.
