Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah met today here with the Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in (OCHA) Office in Aden Nelz Dengoul.
They discussed action-plans to accelerate the emergency humanitarian response to help the newly internally displaced persons (IDP) in Marib governorate.
Dr. Meftah detailed the UN's visiting team on the humanitarian situations in the governorate amid the Houthi militia's ongoing military operations that touched upon the IDPs Camps in the western and northern districts of the governorate.
Meftah appealed for the UN's agencies and international organizations to act quickly to help millions of the IDPs in the governorate whose suffering has been seriously worsening due to Houthi militia's military operations and attacks on the IDPs camps.
