Authorities discuss draft response to oil spill from decaying Safer tanker

The Transports Ministry and the General Authority for Maritime Affairs have discussed the draft response plan to any oil spill from the decaying tanker of Safer in the Red Sea.
In a meeting convened in Aden today, they discussed the preparations of the Emergency Panel to respond to a possible spill incident.
The Houthi militia are keeping the Safer tanker, loaded with 1.4 million barrels of crude, to decay by denying the UN engineers access to the vessel to check and salvage it and prevent a massive environmental disaster expected in the form of oil spill or explosion.
