Yemen’s Minister of Information said the Houthis don’t bother about the magnitude of their human losses in the confrontations with the government.
In a statement to Saba, Muammar al-Eryani said, “While drafting the misled to the warfronts, the Houthi militia don’t seem to bother about the magnitude of the human losses … even as the Sana’a morgues at at capacity and not able to receive more casualties.”
The Houthi militia have attacked Marib with thousands of militants this month, hundreds of whom have been killed and injured as the army and tribes in the government-controlled governorate countered the attack.
Al-Eryani appealed to the tribes in Houthi militia-controlled territories to “prevent their children from joining the Houthi death convoys,” in reference to the continuous funerals the Houthi theocratic militia organize to honor what they call “the martyrs.”
